We’re attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the largest blanket fort ever built, surpassing the current record set in 2023.
But this isn’t just about breaking records.
This record-breaking fort will be designed and engineered by students from West Career and Technical Academy, giving them hands-on, real-world experience while showcasing youth innovation and leadership.
Once complete, the fort will become a safe, immersive space for foster youth to explore, play, and just be kids, while caregivers enjoy a few hours of well-deserved respite.
Kinship caregivers step in unexpectedly to raise children they love. Moments of rest, joy, and community are not always easy to come by.
