At the Caregiver Corner Market in Marcie's Heart Resource Center, kinship caregivers can shop monthly for teen and adult clothing, jewelry and accessories, and seasonal and specialty items.
Everything is free. Items provided for kinship families at the Market cannot be sold. Kinship families must have an account with Foster Kinship and have sign up via Calendly (below) to shop.
Hours: Appointments required; sign up below. Open every Wednesday and Saturday from 11AM-2 PM.

Who We Are: Marcie's Heart is the caregiver resource center at Foster Kinship. We run on donations, time, and love from the community - and we need your support! Your donations of new and reusable items support Foster Kinship's mission to help keep home in the family for children living in kinship care. We love having a place for our caregivers to feel welcome. Through our evidence-based family stability programming, we provide tangible resources to our caregivers every day, and open our Caregiver Corner Market two times a week to families in our programs.
How to Donate: Marcie's Heart accepts new and gently used clothing and shoes for babies, children, teens, and adults, hygiene items, unopened diapers, wipes, and formula, and new and used toys. Please check our list of items we DO and DO NOT accept.
Please ensure your items are clean, and in good condition, and that shoes are in pairs. Don't forget to check pockets, purses, and wallets for any personal items or information. We love gently used toys, but please make sure all the parts are included, and that they are in working condition.
All donations must be bagged or boxed and be light enough for our volunteers to lift. No loose items, please!
We do not sell donated items. If we cannot use your donated item, we will provide it to one of our community partners.
Donation Drop-off Hours: Drop off your donations by checking in at our front office at 8691 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV, 89117, between 9am and 3pm Tuesday through Saturday. Foster Kinship is closed Sunday and Monday. When you arrive, we will help you with your items and provide you with a donation receipt. Please do not leave donations outside our doors. We are unable to pick up donations.

We love our volunteers! They are the heart and soul of what we do at Marcie's Heart, and they make it all happen. We are looking for committed people to help us! Our fantastic volunteers assist in accepting donations, sort and organize our donations, restock the Caregiver Corner Market, bundle clothes for our family advocates to distribute, keep the donation center clean, and participate in events.
We have the following opportunities:
Work a Regular Shift: Sort and organize clothing, shoes, toys, toiletries, and other miscellaneous items that are donated. Includes restocking the Market, bundling clothes by size and gender, and preparing for events. Shifts are available Tuesday-Saturday from 11am-2pm. Please take the online orientation (link below).
Work During our Caregiver Corner Market: Greet and check in caregivers at the door. Help caregivers find items they need. Help bag items and take them to vehicles if needed. Keep the Market tidy and take back hangers.
Markets are every Wednesday and Saturday from 11AM-2 PM. Volunteers interested in interacting with clients at the Market need to complete our online orientation and a background check (see below).
Work at Special Events: Greet caregivers, help them shop, and work at the exit to bag items and carry to vehicles. Be willing to be flexible to help where needed! Event dates will be posted in Calendly (see link below).

If you are a new volunteer, sign up for a shift below, and we will contact you to confirm dates and times with you and ensure you have completed our Volunteer Orientation. Once you have completed the orientation and passed a background check (for anyone hoping to interact directly with caregivers), you are ready to sign up for a Market shift, too!
